Go Aggies, Go Aggies, HEY HEY HEY!
I know that it has been awhile since this game, but I had to still include it on the blog. I love Utah State and I love my time that I spent there. There are so many memories that I will never forget. We were lucky enough to get tickets to watch them play against the Utes. We were there two years ago when they beat BYU and this time when they beat Utah. Maybe we aren't the worst team in Utah anymore..... Everyone better watch out when the Aggies are around! I am so proud to be an Aggie! So worth my two and a half hour drive to get there.
We made a whole weekend out of being in Logan and stopped at Peach Days on Brigham City on our way home the next day. We went to the parade and Nathan got some sweet socks. We also looked at all the booths and watched some shows including belly dancing and silks. Don't forget the free popcorn that we get every year. Such a fun time with family and friends.

Bloomington Lake
The whole Hafer family always talks about going to Bloomington Lake and how much fun it is. It is like a 45 minute drive from the Bear Lake cabin. I don't think I have ever been before so we decided to make the trip on Sunday to see what it was like. I am so glad that we did. It is such a pretty lake with an awesome rope swing. Everyone had such a great time that tried it. We even got the youngest girls to try it with us. If you ever want to try something new and exciting this is the place to go. The best part was probably watching everyone else that was there try different things. Some people just shouldn't try doing certain things.
Man Vs. Mud 2012
I have been wanting to run a race for a long time. I didn't really care how long it was or where it was at. I just hear people talk about them all the time working at a gym and all. I wanted to do it with someone I knew because I hear it makes all the difference in how much fun it can be. We signed up for the Man Vs. Mud a few months ago and I have been way excited ever since. Heidi and Brian came to watch and got some great pictures of the race. We didn't go very fast, but we had a lot of fun along the way. It was a great first experience and we are excited to sign up for our next race soon! We decided next time we are going to get matching outfits. Our team name was The Muddy Muffin-tops. There was even one group that was there for a wedding group. There was a couple that decided to do the mud run on the morning before they got married. Their whole wedding party came dressed in dresses and suits from the DI that were their wedding colors. It was so funny! What a good way to start out a wedding day.
Nice and clean before starting the race.
There was no staying clean after going into the ditch.
MUD FIGHT!
Time to get cleaned up, just a little.
The Skinner Family
We made it!
We went to go some breakfast at Angie's after the race and the boys
didn't bring a change of clothes. Their mom had to get a
picture of this because no one would believe her if we didn't.
Michelle's Surgery
Last weekend we headed up to Park City. Michelle, Spencer's sister, had surgery and just wanted to get away for a weekend so she could get feeling better. It was nice just to lay around and talk and not have to worry about anything. We went on a short four wheeler ride and started to make a sign in the wood shop. Other than that we just played games and relaxed. Spencer also took a couple of pictures of his outhouse that he has been working on. They decided to call it the Taj Mahole. It actually looks really good, the only thing left is the roof.
Working in the wood shop.
Brave Michelle at the cabin only a few hours after surgery.

Summer....
This summer has just flown by since we got home from our trip. Here is a post about the many thing we have been doing. There are in on specific order, that would take way too long. I started a new job that is taking a lot of my time. I am trying to get everything back in order the way it should have been for years, and that takes some time... I will try and be better about blogging so I don't have to do this again.
Park City. Our annual trip to watch the nephews play in the soccer tournament.
This includes watching games, shopping, alpine slide and the Park City Cabin.
Spencer won the race this year. I will get him next year though!
We went and ate dinner at Pizza Hut, so yummy.
We stayed up so late talking and laughing. Then in the morning
Kira was so excited to see the moose with her baby. So much fun!
We took Dean golfing for Father's Day. This is the first time that we
could find to go. I actually got par on one of the holes. That is the first time that
has happened to me. Then we went to dinner at Burger Bar. Such a fun night
and it was good to see Dean again.
Then we went and saw Wicked with Spencer's family. I love this play
and can sing all the songs by heart. It was the first time for everyone else to
seeing it and they loved it. It just makes the Wizard of Oz make so
much more sense.
On our way to Logan we stopped and went to the Brigham City Temple
open house. It was the one time that we had time to go. We couldn't get tickets
for any of the English sessions so we signed up for the ASL tour and got put in with
an English session so it all worked out. haha. I had never been to an temple open
house before and it was very interesting and such a pretty temple.

We also went to the demo derby in Laketown by Bear Lake. It ended up
being more of a family night, they only had eight cars total the whole night. Then they
just did a lot of games. So weird!
Spencer got down to the final three for musical buckets and ended up
losing. Better luck next time.
The best round was just for trucks. They last a lot longer than cars and
can also hit a lot harder.
We tried a second time at the Logan demo derby and it was much better. They
had a lot more rounds and the cars were much better and experienced. They even
had to putout a fire and have the paramedics come in to help a guy that got hurt.

We had a big group with us. It was so fun to see everyone again and get
caught up on what everyone is up to.
There was one girl in the whole event and she got second place!
Then there were numbers on our wrist bands and Tammy won the guitar!
It was out of everyone in the whole audience. Go Tammy!
We went to Lowe's Gym in Provo for Taylor's birthday. It was so much fun! I did
a lot of tumbling, but I was hurting really bad the next day. I am not as young as
I used to be.
Then we went to ice cream at Sub Zero. This is for sure my favorite ice
cream place!
We have been to Bear Lake a few time and hung out with family and friends.
I love Bear Lake so much!! It was the first time that I saw Spencer after my mission.
This is totally his home away from home. I got up on the wake board all five time
this trip! I think I finally got it down. Then Spencer gave us the ride of our lives
on the tube.
Spencer out skiing.
Bear Lake reminds me of Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland in this picture.
Spencer's dad, 50 and still skiing!
We were trying to touch the bottom of the lake by having the anchor take us
all the way down and then popping back up.
Happy 4th of July! We went to Plain City and watched the parade together.
Then we went and watched the firework in Holladay.
Brian was working for the Blaze this year. We got to go to a couple of games with him.
They won! It was their last home game and were able to go to the finals.
Lindsey came to visit from Arizona and we were able to hang out a couple
of times. The first day we went to Mexican while she went and visited her grandpa.
Then we met up at my parents house to talk and plan for the next day. We went to
city creek and ate at Blue Lemon and did some shopping.
She also came to see our new place right before she went to pick up Ben
from the airport. Macee loved playing with a St. Patrick's Day decoration that
we had because everything else is packed away from the move. We just sat
and talked for the few minutes that we had.
Macee's new outfit that we found for her one year pictures. They turned out
way cute! She has such a cute little cheesy smile.
We even made some brownies. They tasted really good. Funny story, Whit tried
to steal some of Lindsey's drink and when she got caught she started laughing.
Everything cameout her nose and mouth. We all couldn't stop laughing!

Spencer brought me these to help with the stress from my new job.
There have been a lot of changes lately! And he has been so sweet even though
I have been hard to live with.
Grant loves his tracker with Grandpa. We went for a bbq and had fun enjoying
the great weather.
We are all moved into our new place. Spencer did it all in one day with the help of family.
It was a mess for awhile, but everything is slowly finding a place.
We are loving having our own place. I am slowly making new decorations
to make it feel like a home. We loved living with Spencer's grandparents and
getting to know them better. Now we are starting a new chapter in our lives and
excited to see where it brings us.
