Go Aggies, Go Aggies, HEY HEY HEY!

I know that it has been awhile since this game, but I had to still include it on the blog. I love Utah State and I love my time that I spent there. There are so many memories that I will never forget. We were lucky enough to get tickets to watch them play against the Utes. We were there two years ago when they beat BYU and this time when they beat Utah. Maybe we aren't the worst team in Utah anymore..... Everyone better watch out when the Aggies are around! I am so proud to be an Aggie! So worth my two and a half hour drive to get there.

We made a whole weekend out of being in Logan and stopped at Peach Days on Brigham City on our way home the next day. We went to the parade and Nathan got some sweet socks. We also looked at all the booths and watched some shows including belly dancing and silks. Don't forget the free popcorn that we get every year. Such a fun time with family and friends.

Bloomington Lake

The whole Hafer family always talks about going to Bloomington Lake and how much fun it is. It is like a 45 minute drive from the Bear Lake cabin. I don't think I have ever been before so we decided to make the trip on Sunday to see what it was like. I am so glad that we did. It is such a pretty lake with an awesome rope swing. Everyone had such a great time that tried it. We even got the youngest girls to try it with us. If you ever want to try something new and exciting this is the place to go. The best part was probably watching everyone else that was there try different things. Some people just shouldn't try doing certain things.

Man Vs. Mud 2012

I have been wanting to run a race for a long time. I didn't really care how long it was or where it was at. I just hear people talk about them all the time working at a gym and all. I wanted to do it with someone I knew because I hear it makes all the difference in how much fun it can be. We signed up for the Man Vs. Mud a few months ago and I have been way excited ever since. Heidi and Brian came to watch and got some great pictures of the race. We didn't go very fast, but we had a lot of fun along the way. It was a great first experience and we are excited to sign up for our next race soon! We decided next time we are going to get matching outfits. Our team name was The Muddy Muffin-tops. There was even one group that was there for a wedding group. There was a couple that decided to do the mud run on the morning before they got married. Their whole wedding party came dressed in dresses and suits from the DI that were their wedding colors. It was so funny! What a good way to start out a wedding day.
Nice and clean before starting the race.

There was no staying clean after going into the ditch.
MUD FIGHT!

Time to get cleaned up, just a little.

The Skinner Family

We made it!

We went to go some breakfast at Angie's after the race and the boys
didn't bring a change of clothes. Their mom had to get a
picture of this because no one would believe her if we didn't.

Michelle's Surgery

Last weekend we headed up to Park City. Michelle, Spencer's sister, had surgery and just wanted to get away for a weekend so she could get feeling better. It was nice just to lay around and talk and not have to worry about anything. We went on a short four wheeler ride and started to make a sign in the wood shop. Other than that we just played games and relaxed. Spencer also took a couple of pictures of his outhouse that he has been working on. They decided to call it the Taj Mahole. It actually looks really good, the only thing left is the roof.
